C844 is a 26km long spur route in north eastern Tasmania, providing access from Gladstone to the localities of Rushy Lagoon, Petal Point, Cape Portland and Little Musselroe Bay on the far north eastern tip of the island state.
The route starts out sealed at its southern end and is intermittently sealed through to Rushy Lagoon. The remainder of the route north of Rushy Lagoon is unsealed.
