C801 is an east-west route through north central Flinders Island, which is located off the northern coast of Tasmania. Branching off the B85 north of Emita, C801 heads east through fertile argicultural land, meeting C803 near Furneaux Lookout in the centre of the Island. Of a total length of 15km only approximately 4km are sealed - the Lucks Rd section and a small portion of Melrose Rd near where it meets Lucks Rd. The gravel surface is of high quality throughout.
