Route C730 is a rural route in the West Tamar hinterland, serving as a north-south link between the C732 at Bridgenorth and the B71 near Exeter. According to Peter Renshaw, C730 is preferred as over the West Tamar Highway (A7) as a link between Frankford Main Rd (B71) and Launceston as it is much straighter and carries significantly less traffic. It is sealed throughout its length.
