C714 is a partly unsealed loop route to the west of Frankford (B71) and Birralee (B72) Main Roads. It's primary reason for existence is to provide access to the popular fishing and boating spot of Brushy Lagoon. It also serves farmland near the tiny hamlet of Birralee.
