C703 is a short north-south route on the northern coast of Tasmanian, linking the Frankford (B71) and Port Sorell (B74) Main Roads. It follows the recently sealed Wrights Lane for its entire length between Moriarty and Northdown. The route functions as one of a number of routes linking the Latrobe and Mersey valley areas with the Port Sorell district, although most traffic prefers to use C701 (Wesley Vale Rd).
C703, although fully sealed, is not of a high standard of construction, following long-established property boundaries and the contours of the rolling-to-hilly countryside.
