C511 is a minor rural route in north-central Tasmania, connecting the towns of Carrick and Bracknell. It also provides access from the Bass Highway to the tourist attraction of Liffey falls, which is located 17km south-west of Bracknell, via C513. During August, C511 functions as a major access route between the annual Tasmanian Agfest and the Bass Highway.
C511 junctions with the Bass Highway (NH1) at a grade-separated diamond interchange about 2.5km south-west of Carrick, and thus provides the western access to Carrick from Bass Highway.

Also note the supplementary fingerboards with additional focal points, installed to aid Agfest visitors.
