NSW's Road History

New South Wales is Australia's most populous state, therefore, ideally NSW should have the best road system. Unfortunately this is not the case, mainly due to the government's reluctance to spend money on freeway projects and the NIMBY's (Not In My Back Yard) who shoot these proposals down forcing Sydney's traffic into a maze of tunnels.
