Southern Terminus: Yamba Dr & Melrose Dr, Woden

Focal Points: Woden, City

Route Overview:

Yarra Glen is the southerly continuation of Adelaide Ave, constructed in the early 1960's to link the new town centre of Woden to the Canberra CBD via Capital Hill. It is a 4-lane freeway grade road but ends at en extremely large radius roundabout where Yamba Dr and Melrose Dr meet. These two roads share the Yarra Glen traffic and skirt either edge of Woden Town Centre. There are also bus lanes provided in each direction, constructed in 2003.
