Route Overview:
The Tuggeranong Parkway is probably Canberra's most well known limited access road, skirting the western side of Lake Burley Griffin and the town centre of Woden before terminating just north of Tuggeranong. The route is 100km/h with 4 grade-separated interchanges. Constructed in the late 1970's, the parkway is currently only 4-lanes wide but has ample room for widening of up to 8 lanes in the future. Like most of Canberra's other arterial roads, the parkway has been constructed in a green belt, meaning there will never be any demolition required for widening of the parkway.
