Route Overview:

Drakeford Drive is the at-grade arterial southerly extension of the Tugeranong Parkway, skirting the Tuggeranong Town Centre. The road is 80km/h with 6 lanes north of Taverner St, 4 lanes between Tavener St and Johnson Dr and 2 lane south of Johnson Dr. The last remaining single carriageway section has ample room for conversion to a 6-lane dual carriageway. Drakeford Dr was initially constructed in the late 1970's in conjunction with the Tuggeranong Parkway, then subsequently widened and extended south. The final southerly extenion between Johnson Dr and Tharwa Dr was completed in 1990.
