PRINCES HIGHWAY
Former Alignment: Tilba Tilba

One of the narrowest and windiest sections of highway in the state was bypassed in August 1990 with the opening of the Tilba Bypass. The Princes Highway at this point passes through some of the steepest grazing country around an old volcano. Also benefitted by the bypass were the towns of Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba, the latter being fully heritage listed. The former highway is now known as Corkhill Drive.
